“You Can Find Your Spirit Here”
Victoria Wilde & Hugh McKenzie

Victoria, What can I say other than that I think the experience at your Longhouse Retreat was one never to be forgotten. I will write more, but for now just want to thank you and Hugh for such a wonderful experience. I feel like I am floating on something. We ended up doing our Turkey dinner yesterday, and I just felt love oozing into preparing that meal and sharing it with my children. I just want you to know what an effect you've had on me, and to wish you, Hugh and Totem a very Happy Thanksgiving.

God Bless - Anita F

Our trip up to the Longhouse in Temagami was spectacular with the colors of autumn all around us. Nestled in the woods and rock of our great north is the Longhouse Quiet Land Healing Lodge.
It was planned that we would stay in the teepee for our first night’s sleep. The night was perfect for this adventure and we loved it. Victoria and Hugh helped set us up in the Tipi with a beautiful fire to keep us warm. They returned early the next morning to wake us so that we could experience a |Native Sunrise Ceremony. It was truly wonderful to give thanks as we watched the sunrise and to then prepare for the start to our day.
Later that day we went on a boat trip across Lake Temagami to Bear Island. I can't describe the peace I felt crossing the waters and landing at the island. Hugh shared with us the history of the island and of the native people who lived there. He being one of them. He is an artist and we were able to see some of his work. Beautiful!!
While on our retreat we also had healing and massage treatments and Medicine Wheel reading. We were so relaxed…
I can't say enough about the experience. I hope that it is something that I can do for myself on a yearly basis. Victoria is a gracious and loving host. We had wonderful talks and came home feeling full of hope and peace. We feel that our trip was a gift and we encourage our friends to treat themselves to this beautiful experience.
Peace and Harmony is what you will find at the Longhouse Retreat.

Thank You, Victoria and Hugh.

Hi Victoria and Hugh,
Thank you both for an amazing weekend.
We really enjoyed our time with you and appreciated all that you shared (and more).
I put on my Facebook page:
“Just back from an amazing retreat in Temagami. We had a sharing circle around the sacred fire in the tipi, drumming, a native art lesson, spiritual healing, massage treatments and more:) Victoria and Hugh were awesome hosts. They told us lots of Indian stories and made us feel really welcome. I am looking forward to my next visit as it was well worth the drive."
I have to warn you both that I will be back!!
Thank you both again for your hospitality.
